Grytlappar del 2 - Potholders part 2

 Hej och välkomna till del 2! Idag ska jag visa upp mina blommiga grytlappar. De flesta av dessa är ganska tunna, men de funkar ju till grytlock. Eller också kan man göra som mina barn och använda dem när man ska plocka upp brödet ur brödrosten för att slippa bränna fingrarna!

Hello and welcome to part 2! Today I will show you my flowery potholders. Most of them are pretty thin, but they still work for pan-lids. Or you can do like my kids and use them to pick up the bread from the toaster without burning your fingers!

Den första är väl egentligen inte så blommig, men den får komma med här ändå. Den är lite speciell i formen, virkad i fyra rutor med fasta maskor i bakre maskbågen.

This first one isn't really flowery, but it could join in here anyway. It is a bit special in its form, crocheted in four squares with single crochet in the back loops.

 Den här i lila, vitt och orange är nog min favorit utseendemässigt. Så söt! Blomman och de vita bladen (?) är fastvirkade på en helvit ruta för att bli tjockare och inte full av hål. Det lila varvet håller ihop de två lagren.

This one in purple, white and orange is probably my favorite as for the looks. So pretty! The flower and the white leaves (?) are attached to a whole white square for thickness and to avoid holes. The purple round keeps the two layers together.

Den här är också riktigt söt. Den består av två likadana blommor som är ihopvirkade i kanten, så den är ganska tjock övenom den inte är så stor.

This one is also really cute. It is made by two identical flowers, crocheted together by the edging which makes it pretty thick even though not that big.

Visst är den söt! Det är inte någon tråkig syssla att välja grytlappar här hemma, när de smutsiga ska på tvätten.

Isn't it pretty! It's not boring to choose potholders in my home, when the dirty ones are going into the laundry.

 Lite mer färgglada grytlappar. Dessutom två likadana, det är ovanligt här!

Det ser ut som att tråden till motivet har fått följa med hela varvet runt. Inget fel med det, då blir den ju bara tjockare.

It looks like the yarn for the motif has been carried along the entire round. Nothing wrong with that, it only makes it thicker.

Den här misstänker jag att någon kan ha gjort i skolan. Vanligt filttyg ihopsytt till ett äpple.

I suspect that somebody made this in school. Ordinary felt sewed together to an apple.

De här är också fina, utan att vara så värst svåra att göra. Blommorna är broderade.

These are also nice, without being that very complicated to make. The flowers are made by embroidery.
